September Class Challenge- Positivity Counts This month, every student and class has a chance to earn points by spreading positivity. From peer shout-outs and helping hands to class spirit boards and positivity jars, there are many ways to get involved. Remember, every act of kindness adds up for your class—and bonus points are available for creativity and teamwork.


Scholastic Book Fair: The Scholastic Book Fair will be back in the library this month. The Book Fair will be open September 17 - 24 from 7:45am - 8:05am and on September 17, 18 and 24 from 3:30pm - 4:00pm. The Book Fair will also be open during parent teacher conferences on September 23, from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. Students and staff may come check out the Book Fair during the school day as long as Mrs. Munter is in the library.

Out of Town Date Slips: If you plan to bring a date to the Homecoming Dance on October 4 who is not an Allen or Emerson student, please pick up a permission form for your guest outside the office door. Please return these to Mr. Blohm by Wednesday, October 1!


Grades 9-12 Homecoming Dance: The Homecoming Dance for Emerson and Allen students in grades 9-12 will take place Saturday, October 4 in the Allen Gym from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. At 7:00pm, both E-H and Allen royalty will be announced. There is no charge for the dance! A Junior High dance will take place at a later date. Remember to get your permission slip turned into Mr. Blohm if you plan to bring a date from another school.

Then a school pep rally will take place after the parade in the school gym.
